HISTORY MAA

(Mideast aviation academy) the first privately owned Flight Training organization in Jordan, was established in the year 2000 in Amman-Marka airport, proudly achieved it’s ambitious plans by gradually expanding it’s fleet of modern aircraft and acquired one of the latest training facilities of it’s time the (Alsim AL-200)Simulator in order to meet the objective of offering Cadet Pilots the quality of flight training that is adopted bythe recognized international standards. Today MAA operates a young fleet of aircraft available for trainingand rental, which includes high performance single Engine Piper Archer III, Multi Engine Piper Seminole,Sama CH-2000 and recently commissioned four new Glass Cockpit Piper Warrior III. In 2002 Our Engineering College was certified by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC) and has been ever since,one of the most respected training centers in the region, in offering candidates the theoretical and practical knowledge required to qualify for the A/P (Airframe/power plant) and Avionics license.

In 2008 MAA announced the commissioning of the state-of-the-art the Alsim ALX (FNPT II MCC) simulator the first of its kind to be certified outside the EU. This training facility which represents a twin jet airliner and equipped with modern aircraft systems is utilized to advance junior pilots skills to the level of airline’s operation. MAA graduates are currently employed by Royal Jordanian Airline, Jordan Aviation and major airlines in the regionas professional pilots and aircraft technicians.
